Read full review

If you want to experience Japan beyond the typical tourist spots, this 17-day tour is a must. The journey from Tokyo to Hiroshima was packed with fascinating destinations. Nagano was a pleasant surprise with its historic charm, and the Koya..san stay was a peaceful retreat. Every day was a new adventure, and I appreciated the balance between sightseeing and free time. The meals were diverse, and it was great to try traditional dishes.Read full review
I would highly recommend this tour. Visiting Japan has been an amazing experience for me and my wife. I believe the company have done a fantastic job at organising this holiday for us!
Visiting any country and travelling around can be stre..ssful, but having our very own tour guide (the wonderful Jason Fisher) has taken all that stress away. Any problems or worries we have had, he s been there working tirelessly. His commitment to this job is outstanding and he s done his very best to take care of everything for us and the rest of the group, it was honestly impressive. Leading a group of 11 people must be extremely difficult but Jason makes it look easy … I believe he a fantastic individual and very professional! He went above and beyond for me and the group, ensuring everyone had the best time possible. Well done the company!! We ll be seeing you again!! Read full review

I had a brilliant time on my tour of Japan and would definitely recommend it to those who have never been to Japan before but have wanted to go for a long time. We went to all the most famous places, but the best bit was that we almost alwa..ys went at times when it was a bit quieter. Everyone warned us before going that it was going to be busy because of cherry blossom season, but I get the feeling that the tour was well scheduled to avoid the biggest crowds, which was great. My absolute favourite part of Japan was Kyoto, and I loved the day where we went to the thousand red tori gates and then the kiyomizudera and then had a tea ceremony in kimono. I honestly felt like I was living in a dream that day. A highlight of the trip was also Takayama (and the optional onsen we went to there) and also miyajima island. The deer in Nara were also adorable. This tour is best for those who are happy to walk around a lot and are willing to try new things and experience new food. All of the accommodation was great and the transport was all booked in advance and easy to navigate with the help of our tour guide, Sarah, who was amazing. If I had to change anything about the tour it would be to spend one more day in Takayama and go straight from Osaka to Hiroshima, rather than through Koyasan. I did really enjoy Koyasan and I imagine it would be a highlight for those who are interested in Buddhism or those more spiritual than I am. I personally felt like there was more I wanted to explore and do in Takayama.Read full review
This tour is fast paced. Don't expect to see everything or spend a heap of time in one place but rather see a snapshot of Japan. Getting to Tokyo a few days before the tour starts should be recommened. The tour itself ran very smoothly due ..to great communication and organisation from our guide Hayley. It was a great way to see a lot in a short amount of time. I wouldn't recommend this to someone who has mobility issues or is unfit. There is a heap of walking (25-30k steps a day) and a few early starts if you want to participate in all the activities. You will be tired and your feet will be sore but it's part of the fun of it all and I would encourage people to have an open mind. As a solo traveller, it was a great tour to share the experience with others and make friends. For example travelling solo, I would never had considered to learn kendo, make sushi or wear a kimono but these were some of the unique experiences that we got to do. It was well lead by the guide Hayley, who was patient, postive and very helpful throughout the tour.Read full review
Just finished my 13 day japan tour. It was the most amazing group tour I;ve ever been on and exceeded my expectations which were already quite high. Our group leader Jord was amazing and helped cultivate a great group experience. Our tour g..roup dynamic was the best I;ve ever had, and the people I met on tour will be lifelong friends. Our team felt like a travel family. Jord was very helpful with anything I needed during the trip, recommendations, advice and helping plan fun things for the group to do. The culture and food were amazing, but our band of travelers made this an unforgettable experience! Can;t say enough good things about this trip 12/10.Read full review
Had the time of my life, I will never forget my personal experience. The best part is meeting all the other fantastic travellers, and of course seeing a bunch of iconic sites. It is a very fast-paced tour, but that’s to be expected.
We had a great time on the 10 day tour with our guide Brad. Included activities were very fun and gave a great overview of Japan. Brad provided many great recommendations on places to eat and activities to do. Our group had a lot of fun! Fo..r future travelers I recommend bringing a rain jacket just in case and a pair of supportive walking shoes.Read full review
