Located along the Sea to Sky Highway, this 210-acre provincial park contains British Columbia's third tallest waterfall with Shannon Falls dropping nearly 1,100 feet. Shannon Falls were named after William Shannon, who owned the surrounding property from 1890-1900. The land was purchased by Brittania Copper Mines and then Carling O’Keefe Brewery. The latter donated the grounds to BC Parks in 1982. Shannon Falls Provincial Park has picnic grounds, hiking trails and an information center.
